Museum Work & Curatorial Practice

Museum Work

I currently work as an Exhibition Project Manager at Museums Victoria. In my role at Melbourne Museum, I have developed exhibitions such as 'Biik Milboo Dhumba | Country Is Always Talking’. Through my work I aim to promote equality and equity within the museum industry. I specialise in dynamic exhibition design and development, combined with detailed research and writing.

Biik Milboo Dhumba | Country Is Always Talking

As you wander among the trees of the Forest Gallery, Biik Milboo Dhumba | Country Is Always Talking invites you to consider what it means to listen to Country.

Curatorial Practice

I have a passion for curating exciting and illuminating exhibitions. I completed a Master of Art Curatorship at The University of Melbourne, and since then my professional experience includes working in regional galleries such as Gippsland Art Gallery and Latrobe Regional Gallery in Victoria, as well as working internationally with JGM Art Ltd in London.

I have curated numerous exhibitions including 'Space: 50 Years Since Man First Stepped On The Moon', the biennial 'John Leslie Art Prize' 2018 and 2020, 'Lesley Duxbury, Echo: A Survey' and 'Heather Shimmen, The Ladies of the Pleiades'. In my previous role as Exhibitions Coordinator at National Exhibitions Touring Support (NETS) Victoria, I managed the delivery of several touring exhibitions including 'Notions of Care', 'Conflated', and 'Collective Movements: First Nations Collectives, Collaborations and Creative Practices from across Victoria’.
